Legendary Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan turns 80 today. He has worked with actors of all generations from Dilip Kumar to Shah Rukh Khan To Rashmika Mandanna. Big B has given commendable performances and played all kinds of characters from playing a cop in Parvarish to a villain in Don. Today on his 80th birthday, his family and friends from the industry wished him a special day.

Our honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi wished him on Twitter wrote, “A very happy 80th birthday to Amitabh Bachchan Ji. He is one of India’s most remarkable film personalities who has enthralled and entertained audiences across generations. May he lead a long and healthy life. @SrBachchan”



Even South superstar Rajnikanth greeted him and wrote, “The legend.. someone who has inspired me always… the one true sensation and superhero of our glorious Indian film fraternity enters 80 .. happy birthday my dearest and most respected @SrBachchan Amitabh ji .. with lots of love and best regards always.”




Sr. Bachchan’s son Abhishek Bachchan planned a special surprise for him. Sr. Bachchan has been hosting Kaun Banega Crorepati since its inception and currently its 14th edition KBC 14 is airing on Sony TV. Jr. Bachchan surprised him on the sets of KBC and the special episode was dedicated to him. Even his wife Jaya Bachchan accompanied her son. Sharing the video clip from the episode he wrote, “It took a lot of secrecy, a lot of planning, a lot of hard-work and a lot of rehearsals to get it right. But then again, he deserves no less! It was very emotional to be able to surprise dad and celebrate his 80th Birthday at the place he loves the most, his workplace.”




Kajol who has worked with Amitabh Bachchan in Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham wished, “Happy happy 80th birthday Amitji. Lots of things that you are, a phenomenon, one of a kind, amazing, actor par excellence. So many things in one lifetime! Wishing you a fabulous year ahead. @SrBachchan”



 
Manoj Bajpayee considers Amitabh Bachchan his inspiration. Wishing him on his birthday, he said, “Amitabh Bachchan and his film have been the reason which kind of emboldened my dream of becoming an actor. He became my inspiration to be an actor. I used to look up to his swag, dialogue delivery, and walk. He has given me a lot of strength and courage to leave my village to become an actor. On every birthday of his, I wish him personally.”

Saiyami Kher also wished Big B on his birthday as she wrote, , “Amitabh Bachchan has been an institution, an inspiration & the torchbearer of Indian cinema for so many years. On the work front, the veteran actor was last seen in ‘Goodbye’ with Rashmika Mandanna. He will be next seen in Uunchai with Anupam Kher, Parineeti Chopra, and Boman Irani releasing on November 11, 2022.
